The following is a press release from Cadenza:
Cadenza is a Morse code training app from independent developer Ivan Terekhin of Trifoil Trailblazer. Available for iPhone, iPad and Android, it combines introductory character practice with exercises for people preparing to use CW on the air.
The trainer uses the Koch method with Farnsworth spacing. Learners begin with two characters, hear them at speed with wider gaps, and add more as their accuracy improves. Practice works offline and does not require an account.
The free version includes alphabet, number and punctuation training, a reference covering prosigns and Q-codes, a two-way Morse translator, and a microphone decoder for clean Morse tones. Daily challenges and progress tracking are also included.
Optional Cadenza Pro adds callsign practice, simulated QSOs, pileups, head copy and sending practice. Users can create custom practice lists for callsigns and contest exchanges. Sending exercises support an on-screen key or a straight key or paddle connected through a compatible USB or Bluetooth keyboard adapter, such as VBand or Vail.
Cadenza is free to download, with optional monthly, annual or lifetime Pro purchases.
