via Amateur Radio Daily: 9/11 ‘We Do Remember’ Special Event Returns for 6th Year

K4A will once again keep K4 America the 9/11 We do Remember on air special event. The Alabama Contest Group is doing this for the 6th year.

I know most of us remember it like it was yesterday… but it has been 25 years since the towers fell, the Pentagon was damaged, and heroes brought the plane down in PA to prevent further attacks.

From September 9th through 13th, volunteer operators will take shifts to contact amateurs on the air. We want to hear your memories of that tragic day. And if you want to remember someone lost on that day, we’d be honored to help with that tribute naming them and having a pause on the air. 9/11 and the victims will not be forgotten.
