Today, Angelina County Commissioners approved a new form of emergency communication- Ham radios.
After receiving universal approval from Judge Keith Wright and Angelina County Commissioners, the county will now have access to the Ham radio system in emergency situations.
“You’ve got to have options, and that is an option that when everything else goes down, this still works,” Wright said.
Ham radios are used as a way to communicate without internet service or cell phone connections
