The presentation
Aimed at newcomers to contesting, this presentation will explore how contesting began, explain why it is rewarding and fun, and demonstrate how anyone can take part in their first contests with equipment they have today. We’ll look at what are suitable events to start off with, both on VHF and HF, whether you prefer to operate using voice, data modes and/or Morse code.
About Lee
Lee, G0MTN has been an active contester for over 35 years on both HF and VHF, operating at home and with groups in the UK and abroad. He has presented several times at RSGB Conventions to help spread positive messages about contesting.
