Yaesu announces the end of production on two of its models, the Yaesu FTM 400 series, one of the first VHF UHF Yaesu System Fusion mobile radio that has been out since 2013/2014 and also the of the Yaesu FT-818 that was the last Yaesu portable QRP 6 Watts HF through 70 centimeters transceiver, successor of the FT-817 a very popular radio among portable, qrp and satellite operators.
Yaesu reports that the reason for stopping the production of these two radios is the global shortage of electronic components.
