The South African Amateur Radio League (SARL) reports the Ministry of Communications and Digital Technologies has published a draft RF Spectrum policy document and comments are requested
SARL News says:
The Minister of Communication recently published the draft next-generation frequency policy and has invited comments. Amateur Radio is mentioned in the passing. It was published in the Government Gazette on 6 September, with a final date for comment within 30 working days.
The SARL is currently studying the document for opportunities to increase the visibility of amateur radio by highlighting the contribution amateur radio is making to technology advancement and its contribution to the knowledge economy of South Africa.
