Cosmic rays from deep space, which penetrate Earth’s atmosphere, are subsiding. In fact, they’ve just dropped to their lowest level in 6 years according to sensors onboard high-altitude balloons.
What’s going on? Ironically, increasing solar activity is causing the radiation to go down.
