Robert/OK2PYA signs SV5/OK2PYA between the 6th and 13th from Rhodos on 40-10m (CW, SSB). Portable operation will take place from the nature reserve SVFF-0159 (Anatoliki Rodos: Profitis Ilias – Epta Piges – Ekvoli Loutani – Katergo, Rema Gadoura – Chersoni). QSL via OK2PYA (d/B).
EU-015; SV9, CRETE ISLAND:
David/OK6DJ and OK1-36573 operate from Crete as SV9/OK6DJ between July 8 and 14 on HF (CW, SSB, FT4). QSL via ClubLog OQRS, LoTW, eQSL.
EU-050; I*7, PUGLIA (FOGGIA) REGION group:
Franco/IZ5IUY has changed his plans somewhat and now aims to operate together with Luca/IK5AEQ from the island San Domino, Tremiti Archipelago (IIA Q-001; WAIL PU-037; WAIP FG; WW Locator JN72RC), both signing IL7/homecalls until July 9. After that Franco will continue to operate sporadically until Juy 22 while carrying out work on the island. QSL via homecalls.
EU-076; LA, LOFOTEN ISLANDS:
Ari/OH3KAV will be active from Lofoten between the 6th and 8th as LA/OH3KAV on 40-10m (CW, FT8). QSL via OH3KAV (d/B).
EU-125; OZ, JYLLAND WEST group:
Volker/DJ8VW operates holiday-style from Romo until July 16 as 5P8VW on 160-6m (CW, SSB, FT8). He is located in OZFF-0004 (Vadehavet). QSL via DJ8VW (d/B), OQRS via ClubLog, LoTW, eQSL, qrz.com.
OC-191; A3, NIUATOPUTAPU ISLAND:
Masa/JA0RQV signs A35JP/p from the 10th to 16th on 80-6m (CW, SSB, FT8). Operating is restricted somewhat as there is no power commercially available. Masa continues to stay on Tonga until Sept. 24 and plans to visit other islands during August. QSL via homecall (d/B), LoTW, OQRS.
Other IOTA News
1S, SPRATLY IS.: Gil/4F2KWT has received the special callsign DX0NE together with the permit to operate from the island Pag-Asa in the Kalayann archipelago. The permit covers Aug. 1 to Dec. 31. An exact date for Gil’s trip will be announced in due course.
6, BAHAMAS: Members of the Bahamian radio club meet from July 9 to 11 to celebrate the 49th anniversary of independence and operate as C6ARS on 160-6m (CW, SSB, digital). A QSL route is not known so far.
