Norway’s national amateur radio society, the NRRL, report they are working with communications regulator Nkom to stop intruders operating in the 144 MHz band
A translation of the NRRL post reads:
Intruders in the amateur bands are a problem we in the NRRL spend a lot of resources on. Sometimes these appear and block installations or impose frequencies used for modes other than FM, which until now it is the intruders who have most often used on VHF and UHF.
With listening, logging and bearing, we make it possible to identify the users and find the exact area in which they operate. This makes it easier for the authorities to devote resources to keeping our ties free of unwanted intruders.
