RSGB President Bob Beebe, GU4YOX reported that he had attended the IARU 100th anniversary Interim Meeting with other RSGB volunteers. The Society had been closely involved in the foundation of IARU and so his participation in the event was very welcome. The IARU remains the main defender of the hobby against threats to our spectrum and also carries out important work such as helping support HAREC.

The RSGB Contest Committee has now passed a milestone of one million QSOs uploaded to LoTW from its portfolio of legacy calls (G6XX, G6ZZ, G5WS, G5AT, G3DR) and various SES NoVs at (eg GB0IARU). The calls are used for HQ stations in various contests and are available to any Full licence RSGB member on request.

Work had started on the 2025 Convention and on Society attendance at the 2025 National Hamfest Board considered a report from the BSW Coordinator Prof. Ian Neal, M0KEO which described the very successful engagement with this process in 2025. RSGB was one of the official partners for BSW 2025, securing an amateur radio activity in the Community Pack. He set out how he hoped to proceed for 2026. Board congratulated Prof Neal and the Outreach team for this work and looked forward to supporting the work towards the 2026 process.
