The Battle Harbour National Historic Trust has two of the last paired Marconi Towers to be found anywhere.
We are currently in a competition to win $50K to have funds to fix them up and make sure they stand for another 100 years.
The iconic Battle Harbour Marconi Towers, are a symbol of Labrador’s connection to the world! Originally built in 1906 and rebuilt in 1931, this Marconi station transmitted groundbreaking messages including Admiral Peary’s North Pole expedition in 1909.
With your vote, we can protect them for future generations
