Local Ham radio operators in McCracken County, Kentucky, are preparing to connect with other counties in case of a weather emergency.
The Paducah Organization of the Amateur Radio Emergency Services came together to communicate with Caldwell, Trigg, and possibly Ballard counties and eastern and central Kentucky.
The event took place at Lone Oak Fire Station #2.
