The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) has issued an official statement, saying that ‘. . the ACMA has not endorsed a third-party interference management tool called QRM Guru. Any claims about the ACMA endorsing any third-party interference management tool are false.’
This was in response to an item posted on Southgate News on 20 July, coming from a group calling itself the Radio Amateur Radio Society of Australia (RASA).
The RASA news item purports to include endorsement of QRM Guru by the Wireless Institute of Australia (WIA), but the WIA has not issued a statement endorsing QRM Guru.
The ACMA’s statement is available online, here:

The WIA is a member of the International Amateur Radio Union, which is recognised by the ITU, is a member of the Australian WRC-23 delegation, and represents all licensed amateur radio operators in Australia to the various government bodies in the country.
